Event: Colorforms and other Abstractions

Color-Forms and Abstractions represented two different styles of painting I am exploring. Color-Forms, my geometric work, with its kaleidoscopic palette, is informed by my experience as a musician and puppeteer. They express ideas about the nature of improvisation, performance, and optimism. The other part of the title, Abstractions, suggests a quieter mood, somewhat restricted in palette, which, in some intuitive way, is connected to landscape.

Biography
I am a trained musician and puppeteer but it is through painting that I find a greater range for my artistic voice ..I have been an Artfinder member since 2013..."We have several Wunderlee paintings in our home. His versatility and use of light and color is frankly amazing. He is a master at capturing a mood abstractly using color and form that you could look at endlessly. His works go from tiny (I have a 4x6 in the bathroom) to wall sized. As an artist Wunderlee is also a total pleasure to work with. I've known him for many years..". Dr. Rachel L
