About Dzmitry Saladukha

  • Biography
My name is Dmitri Solodukha. I was born in 1989 in Belarus. I’m a pianist, artist and photographer. After graduating from Belarusian Academy of Music I proceeded my education at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz,Cologne, Germany. Currently I’m living and working in Germany. My entire music life has always been closely connected to painting. I never subdivide Art into separate types. Either it is music, painting, theatre or literature. I consider them to be just tools for a creative person who always creates his own world. The languages of art and music are equally important to me. There is no difference to me whether I’m performing a concert or creating a picture. I can hear colours and see sounds. Every time whilst holding a brush, I create a symphony on canvas. My paintings express the inner world of a person. They are not just a simple photographic depiction of reality. My intension is to reveal the unique perception of reality of every single person. We all see same things in different ways and this is the real power of art for me. There are no spiritual borders between painting and music, only material methods of reproduction. The art of future is the art of the emotional subconscious and from this point of view it makes no difference whether we are playing a piano or creating a picture. The main goal of my work is the emotional impact of colours, shapes and lines on the inner world of a person.
