    Debra Lohrere is a Multi-award winning Australian artist who has been painting for over 40 years, selling her first oil painting at the age of 16.
    Debra's paintings hang in collections around Australia and in the USA. She works from her home/studio in Redbank Plains.
    Debra has exhibited at the Agora Gallery in New York and received critical acclaim in the New York magazine “ARTisSpectrum”, as well as been featured in numerous newspaper articles and in the book International Contemporary Artists Vol XII.
    As a teenager she studied at the Alexander Art Gallery under Marlene Leary and Aubrey Hinchcliffe.
    Debra's works vary in subject matter, genre and colour, working in both oils and acrylics she creates a range of dynamic impressionist, expressionist and abstract paintings, all alluringly unique. Her object as an artist is to communicate her perspective of the world around her, delving into the very essence of her subject matter. She embraces vibrant and stunning colours in her artwork, focusing on harmony, balance and contrast. Her colourful portraits aim to delve into and express the inner personality of her subject matter.
