  • Biography
    When painting landscapes I came to realise that it's good to include one or more figures in the scene, as these provide added interest. From this I started creating street scenes where more figures could be included.
    I also like to paint seascapes and harbour scenes.
    The effects of light and shadow I find very interesting as these can really add drama to a painting. Most of my artworks encompass impressionism, this being a technique which enables a painting to have impact from across a room.
