    My beginning steps of preparing a painting to be shipped: frame & wire the back of the painting, cut a piece of foam core to protect the face of the artwork and to secure the 4 corners add protective card board corners!!

    Once the paintings are dry I give them a coat of varnish before I frame them to protect the painting surfaces!!

    Preparing a wood board. After a light sanding on both sides I then proceed to paint a layer on both sides of PVA Size to protect it from drying out and cracking and from insects.
