About Marija (Maria) Bazarova

  • Biography
When people see my paintings, I often hear them say: I have never seen anything like this before! And that is not a coincidence.

My paintings are filled with mysticism.

I have been looking for my painting style for about 10 years. And only after the death of my fiance, who died of cancer, my hands "felt" the way to paint pictures like this, kind of by themselves.
It was 2015... With the discovery of this new direction, I was painting nonstop.
Time stood still and I didn´t know what the results would be in the end, fortunately, the resulting outlines amazed and delighted even me, it was a surprise for me too.

Each painting is unique and one of a kind, patiently waiting for its owner, who, no doubt, will come.

Yes, there is a lot of black in my canvases. But that's because it is a classic color and it was a favorite color of my fiance.
In Japan, black is the color of joy;).
So let's rejoice and fill our interior with art full of mysticism and meaning.

Of course, I will not settle only for this color. I will continue to paint and experiment.
