Me painting in Kerala

I few years ago I spent a morning or two on the beach in Kerala painting an old fishing boat at sunrise. I don't know how it turned ok considering I was surrounded by local people who even stood between me and the subject, picked up my brushes to look at, chattered incessantly but every time I looked in there direction I was met by ear to ear smiles. You never forget a plein air experience, the people you meet and the animals that wander past.
