About Alexander Marco Salazar

  • Biography

Hi my name is Alexander Salazar and I'm an American artist based in Florence, Italy. When I was 18, I decided to move from my home in Connecticut to pursue my passion for the arts abroad.  My works revolve around three elements: time, transformation and movement. I am inspired by the German expressionists, Italian futurists, and especially Eadweard Muybridge's chronophotographic studies!

In Italy I've had the fortune to exhibit my paintings in numerous shows including the Me, Myself, and I at Palazzo StrozziFluIDentity at the Mentana Gallery in Florence, and also the New Florence Biennale at the Fortezza.

Feel free to write me a message if you have any questions or comments!
