Oil on linen 40x40x2cm (15.8x15.8x0.8in) 2013.
The toy car is a series which I set up in 2013 to be the focus of my first solo exhibition. “Ilaria” is an oil on linen painting 40x40cm in which a girl plays with the well know Toy Car. This is the only painting of the series, along with “Andrea”, in which the Toy Car is represented as a toy instead of playing a different role (pet, vehicle etc.). This gives to the artwork a more veristic touch. The white background highlights the details of the girl and the toy.
“Ilaria – The toy car” is painted with top quality oil colours and stretched on a supported wooden canvas.
