Original artwork description:
This watercolor painting started with a blind sketch - a drawing I made without looking at my paper. My reference photo was one I took of a simple floral arrangement I saw in the lobby of a local art museum. I made a blind-contour drawing and then transferred it to watercolor paper, and limited my palette to green, turquoise and red-oranges. I love the looseness and freedom of this painting.
