I'm participating in a new challenge called #The100DayProject and I'm choosing to create new original oil paintings in a minimalistic style called "Zenscapes."

Each piece is 4" x 4" (10.16 cm x 10.16 cm) on a piece of unstretched canvas and comes mounted in a white square mat measuring 8" x 8" (20.32 cm x 20.32 cm). These Zenscapes are signed on the back and on the front of the mat; and carefully shipped in a sturdy cardboard envelope, ready to be framed by you!

The Zenscapes are simple, minimalist-style seascapes and landscapes. My seascapes are usually inspired by my visits to the Northern California Pacific coast (favorites are Bodega Bay, Stinson Beach, Carmel, Monterey, Sea Ranch, Mendocino, San Francisco, Point Reyes, etc.....), and my landscapes are inspired by Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley and many of the other beautiful regions in the state of California.
