This painting was inspired by a walk around the hills at Zennor. There is a house hidden by trees and the sky was so beautifully blue. I had been to Aleister Crowley's abandoned house to gather material for an art project and I was struck by the beauty of this scene opposite the house, with the wild flowers and grasses. The painting is oil on board and is framed in a beautiful, charcoal grey frame.
