Original artwork description:

I wanted to do a big and bright painting on panel and box-framed. The past 6 months have been very busy working on a stream of commissions so I needed a break from them to get back to my creative roots.

My Zebra paintings have always gone down well - especially where I have used a very wide spectrum of colours on a subject that folk regard as a black and white subject matter. I am also not keen on paintings hidden behind glass as the glare obscures the artwork so decided to go with an acrylic on panel box-framed approach; the artwork was then sealed with a matt varnish to make the painted surface water resistant.

This piece took most of April 2023 to do with a few breaks here and there.

The painting comes ready to wall hang, strung and pads fitted. The painting can be collected from my studio in Hereford and shipping costs refunded if you do.
