This Ink on Paper drawing was started from life at an event called Artists Bridge The Gap organized by the Red Room in Taipei City, Taiwan. Each year the Red Room hold live drawing and painting events and invite artists and non-artists to create Artworks together. The aim is to introduce and encourage a creative environment where people can make Art together, and it’s always a lot of fun!
In 2019 we took turns to model for each other and had a few friends sit as models for varying lengths of time.
This model was called Zak and he is a musician who posed with his acoustic guitar. He sat for around an hour at the 2019 event and afterwards I stored the unfinished picture at home. Recently I began working on it again to add more depth and detail and completed it in my studio.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
