The bluebell woods near my home are a constant source of inspiration and I count them amongst my Happy Places. This spring particularly they have bloomed long and fragrant and I have communed with the very best of springs magic. There is something about new beech leaves against the violet of the bluebells that is so stunning!
This work was painted loose and free which brings an enormously dynamic quality particularly on the super touch handmade watercolour paper I favour.
This work is offered in mounted and in frames and could be brilliantly presented either in a traditional or float mount and the paper has a gorgeous decal edge.
I will ship this work flat in a box as the paper is extremely heavy and won’t take kindly to being rolled in a tube.
100% cotton rag watercolour paper and artists watercolour pigment from Windsor and Newton and Daniel Smith
