YOUR EYES - mixed media with enamel on canvas cm. 73x100 - year 2016
I have always been fascinated by the eyes, the first thing that strikes me in a woman is the look. The eyes are the mirror of the soul.
Who among you can hold a woman's gaze for a long time?
I hope you will be impressed by these eyes that look at you calmly, in a whirlwind of colors, to release so much energy.
I frequently paint and photograph women, mine is a research on the female body, and I do not dwell only on the body, but I try to penetrate into her soul, understand her dreams, her fantasies, through her eyes.
I use abstractionism, I let the colors drip, which will seek their place within the painting in search of their creative energy.
In this collection, the artist intends to face the enigma of his own image, an identity that in many people is equivocal, overshadowed, counterfeit. In fact, the faces portrayed show thoughtful expressions some, others absent, dark, fascinating, penetrating, involved by the common need to "be such" and not "have to appear". The search for one's own identity, which leads to true knowledge of oneself. The awareness that in life is all semblance.
