Original artwork description:

Field Marshal Horatio Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener, in this famous recruitment poster from World War One. In hand cut British stamps on canvas, finished off with acrylics and a coat of mat varnish. Painted around the edges, so ready to hang.
As a nice touch the words BRITONS, and GOD SAVE THE KING, are in King George stamps, from the postmarks they are dated between 1914 and 1917.
