Original artwork description:

The young girl, or is it a boy with longer hair, has their eyes closed in contemplation. The light illuminates the face in the dark. The features are calm, red lips relaxed. Their thoughts seem to be deep yet inscrutable.

Portraits are meant to function as allegories. Each portrait is created by layering multiple portrait sources found in film stills, contemporary photography and 19th century realism. The final character carries a hidden secret which is intentionally left unsolved.
