A young Leopard lounging on a tree trunk, where these beautiful creatures spend much of their time when not hunting. Don't be fooled by his languid pose as he surveys his surroundings as Lepoards are fearless preditors. Not many of the big cats will prey on crocodiles, but leopards will without hesitation. I'll admit that I've only ever seen captive leopards,so this painting is taken from reference photos that I was able take for this painting.
The photos you are viewing here of the painting are inferior to viewing the painting in real life,as a photo can never reproduce exactly what you see when viewing something in real life.
