Original artwork description:

This painting is at exhibition with Felstead Art at 60 Threadneedle Street, London, EC2R 8HP
28th May- 6th September 2024
Monday- Friday 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM
Private View 24th May 6.00-8.00 PM (RSVP required)

Large scale painting on unstretched canvas and shipped in a tube.
The base layer is graphite and charcoal on raw canvas, sealed with clear gesso. This painting includes flip flop paint in the middle layer of text, this is like magic paint that changes colour depending on the angle you view it from. There is green/ orange, blue/ green and green/ violet. It sounds horrific but it's really cool.

SO THERE WAS THIS DREAM
ABOUT A TINY PAINTING
I COULDN'T SEE IT
BUT I COULD FEEL HOW IT WAS MORE THAN EVERYTHING
GLANCE AT A PICTURE THROUGH A WINDOW
INSPIRATION IS NOT IN WHAT YOU SEE
BUT IN WHAT YOU START TO IMAGINE

Materials used:

acrylic, charcoal and graphite on canvas
