Original artwork description:

This unique original painting was inspired by a local field, at the end of a long hot summer, after the grass had been cut and made into bales of hay.

Freshly cut grass has such a wonderful smell, and the hay bales hold onto that gorgeous smell for months. As the sun beams down, each blade of dry grass shines like gold. It’s a beautiful heartwarming sight.

This original painting was painted with acrylic paint on canvas, using layers of painterly techniques. It contains the hues of early autumn. It measures 20x20 inches, and it is strung with wire at the back, ready to hang on the wall in your home.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint, marbling ink
