Original artwork description:

This work is gestural and spontaneous.

It is a black and white abstract painting reminiscent of the works of Franz Kline, Pierre Soulages, and Joan Mitchell. The painting is exuberant with an immediacy in the strong brushwork in black and markings. There is has been little adjustment after the initial paint placement and so what one sees is authentic and inspirational.

The sides of the painting are predominantly white due to the composition and the work is signed on the front and back.

This painting is ready to hang (unframed) with a wire attached.

This painting has been created using professional acrylic paint. A thin layer of professional satin varnish has been applied to protect against UV light. The work will be sent accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
