'You Never Can Tell With Bees' (on account of all of their knees) is an original drawing measuring 200mm x 148mm in size. 'You Never Can Tell With Bees' has been drawn in pencil and ink. Texture and detail has been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing.
This delightful study shows a little hare checking out the bees....'You never can tell with bees...with all their knees' ...that's a lot of knees if you care to stop and count!
