Original artwork description:

Woman with closed eyes, wearing a transparent embellished dress and a hint of fine lace gloves. Her body is just visible through the dress's pattern.

The image was partly inspired by the title of the Dostoevsky book.

It is painted in quality Winsor & Newton Artists Acrylic on two linen covered boards which, when framed, will fit together to make one long artwork. Her hair is subtly highlighted in gold acrylic which catches the light beautifully; I've tried to capture this in the photographs.

This diptych will make an impressive centrepiece to a room or a stairway landing because of its long elegant shape.

Signed bottom left and also on the back of the linen boards.

The two parts will be wrapped in acid-free tissue and carefully packed.
