I’ve painted this scene several times, but usually in summer or Spring. So this autumnal scene is particularly special for its riot of colour. The reds of the spent ferns sing against the green grasses as do the yellows and oranges of the trees against the purple hills. This stream lies alongside a lead mine track above the village of Hebden in the Yorkshire Dales.
This work is presented double mounted ready for framing. It will be dispatched cello wrapped and carefully packaged in an appropriate strong cardboard box and sent via a tracked courier.
A certificate of authenticity will be provided.
