Original artwork description:

A view of York Minster when the sun was lighting the stonework up in that lovely yellow gold. It's always a surprise just how much the light can affect the apparent colour of things.
The school children walking past was an added bonus with their red sports kit which adds to the scene.

Materials used:

Daler-Rowney heavy watercolour paper, 300g/m2. Professional quality paints by Winsor & Newton.
