Original artwork description:

Living as I do in the heart of the French countryside, it is easy to shut out conflict and injustice on the world stage, especially when the pandemic has made us all feel isolated and very 'local' in our thinking.
A news report alerted me to the conflict in Yemen and the plight of the children there. Desperate to continue their education , they arrive for classes in a school ravaged and partially destroyed. This story touched my heart. This painting is the result.
It is painted on 100% cotton Arches watercolour paper with Winsor Newton professional watercolours and is sold with a frame and mount under glass in colours to compliment the colours in the painting. It will be extremely well packaged for shipping.
