Painted on-site in Minneapolis, MN. Features an autumn Maple tree with an arching sweep of foliage in lemon yellow, golden yellow, yellow-green, and topped with a blush of deep orange-red. The tree is set against a hillside of green grass, shrubs, and fallen leaves. Painted on board with oil over casein paint. The running and dripping effects are created with casein paint, which dries to a soft, matte finish and contrasts with the oil paint. Paint has been applied with both palette knife and brush, with delicate lines of trunk and branches, and thickly textured impasto leaves.
Sold unframed. May be purchased with frame by request.
