This modern abstract monotype is made of two layers of acrylic paint on a home made gelatine plate. This time I tried to focus on texture. It creates the idea of depth.

Printing gives me the pleasure of surprise. It always turns out different than expected. This triggers new ideas. My monoprints often consist of multiple layers of paint printed on top of each other. After the printing process I also draw or paint on the prints again.
