I haven't painted a still life for a long time. I even missed a little._x000D_ _x000D_ And then, fortunately, my husband brought home pears - juicy, yellow. Their delicate scent teased me, prompting me to make a composition._x000D_ _x000D_ At first, no ideas came to mind. But then I decided to use contrast. After all, yellow objects look great against a black background._x000D_ Chance decides a lot. I have it so often. I wanted to paint a still life in oil with many objects, but there was a jar of black acrylic on the table. And there was a suitable canvas._x000D_ And here is an acrylic painting in front of you_x000D_ I quickly covered the canvas with a thick layer of black acrylic but added a little blue. In my opinion, blue-black is much more expressive than just black._x000D_ _x000D_ And also, a ceramic pot caught my eye. Very old. It still belonged to my grandmother. I kept it carefully. And now it came in handy. And I also covered the neck of the pot with my grandmother's linen napkin. This napkin has preserved old hand embroidery._x000D_ It turned out so interestingly that an ancient object stands on modern still life._x000D_ _x000D_ In my opinion, this is very symbolic; this is the connection of times. Although our thoughts are directed towards the future, it is impossible to live without the past._x000D_ Do you keep old and antique items at home?
