Yellow is an original abstract expressionist style painting by Suzanne Vaughan. Thick paint is applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

It captures the fresh energy and vitality of nature in shades of warm tan, amber and yellows.

Painted on a 7/8” gallery wrapped canvas with the painting extending around the sides, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front.
