We visited Tuscany earlier this year and I was smitten by the beauty all around. I was with my sketchbook, sketching at every opportunity and making notes for future paintings.

I painted this gorgeous window as a pair last month. This time I wanted to go in for a slightly different composition, focusing on one window and in the process fixing some of the things that were bothering me the last time around.

This beautifully decorated window is from a little lane in the Tuscan town of Volterra. Perfect for the summer!
