A sip of positive emotion in a cold winter. Tiny sunspots. Today is a very gloomy day.
But when I look at this painting, my mood lifts. I seem to be moving from winter to summer.
Did you know that seeing the colour yellow increases the level of the "happiness hormone", scientifically known as serotonin?
Painted lemons have another wonderful quality. They do not spoil and do not lose their cheerful colour. And if you have a good imagination, you will always be able to smell lemons.
As a last resort, you can place an aroma lamp with lemon essential oil nearby.
The benefits will be doubled. As well as smelling good, lemon oil can kill viruses in the air.
