Original artwork description:

This Oil Pastel drawing was done “en plein air” from my apartment balcony in Nangang, Taipei City looking towards the Yang Ming Mountain range. It was one of the first times I’d used Oil Pastels for landscape drawings and was completed over two days. When I started drawing the view was actually quite clear and I could see the mountain colours, but I wasn’t happy with the picture. So I decided to continue working on it and during the second session the weather was cloudy and misty making the details of the mountains disappear into the mist. I love drawing from life and trying to capture the different effects of nature at different times of day and decided to go with it and make the picture about the misty mountains. It is always a fun challenge to try to capture fleeting effects of the ever changing mother nature.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
