Translated from Sanskrit as "Destroyer of Death", Yamantaka terminates the rebirth cycle by destroying death.
In my own interpretation it's an aspect and an ability of the human psyche to transform/ being reborn after some serious damage (such as abuse, depression, post-dramatic stress).
