The painting was painted in Montenegro. I am fascinated by the landscape and nature of the Balkans. For many years I have been traveling to paint the landscapes of the Adriatic. Over the years of traveling, I have developed many favorite natural places.
The painting depicts the port in the ancient city of Kotor, in the Bay of Kotor. This ancient town seems to be untouched by modernity. Its old part has been preserved since the Middle Ages.
This place is known all over the world. Large ships with tourists and private yachts like to come here. I am captivated by the local original culture, air, sea and people. In the painting, I try to convey one of the beautiful summer days of the Adriatic.
