This painting was inspired after a walk from Rhyd Ddu car park in Snowdonia. The aim was to climb The Nantlle Ridge - we got about half way where the wind was so wild that it blew my hat off and due to poor visibility we decided to turn back. As we descended the sun came out and I managed to capture this shot across the fields. Even though we didn't traverse the ridge - it was a great day in the mountains of Snowdonia.
This painting is on box canvas and measures 12x16x1.5". The image continues around the sides and there is a hook on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall. A coat of varnish is applied for protection.
Thank you for looking at my work.
