"Under the Bridge" is a punchy, edgy artwork in a street & graffiti style, its main colours are blue, white and black in combination with pink, orange and lime green.

“Under the Bridge”, ist the first part of a series of works in an urban, street art style, the later paintings all have "Urban Views" in their title. "Under the Bridge" not, because the inspiration for it and the whole series was really a bridge – on the way to my earlier day job I drove along the substructure of a bridge every morning. The substructure was always the same, old, grey, ugly and dirty. But nearly every day something in the area changed:

Sometimes I spotted camps from homeless persons, sometimes there was a new graffiti, one day there were some square paper paintings placarded overnight. Only a few weeks later a new graffiti covered them. So the idea of the painting “Under the bridge” came up.

Newspaper, spray paint, acrylic, graphite.

"Under the Bridge" is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. The sides are white with traces of colours / collage materials from the developing of the artwork.

Professional hooks are already mounted, so you just need two nails to hang it - it will definitely be an eye-catcher on your wall!
