Wicken Fen is a reduction lino print inspired by a winters walk along the famous Cambridgeshire fen before the start of lock down.
I set out to capture the crisp cold and bright sunshine, and the way this was reflected off the water. It is a part of a variable edition, meaning each print in the edition of 6 is slightly different.
It is A4 in size and printed on to approximately A3 300gsm Somerset paper.
Materials used:
Hawthorn oil based inks and Somerset Satin paper
