The last remnants of the German destroyer/torpedo boat the B98 lie in Lopness Bay on the East side of Sanday in Orkney. Details of the history of the boat and how it came to be lying on this beach since 1920 can be found on the Sanday website.
The view is of the farm of Lopness and the Start Point lighthouse in the far distance.
