The sculpture with an organic shape and inspired by dense substances like two drops, where one wraps the other in a sort of embrace. Two that in finding each other come to life. A sculpture that stimulates tenderness, warmth and curiosity.
A combination of different surfaces. Smooth and rough, almost sharp.
The two drops wrap around each other.
Two organic elements equal in form but different in structure.
Technical Sheet
The work is carved from a block of limestone coming from Majella quarry montain in the beautiful region of Italy. Small pieces of stone are fixed on a part of the stone. The stone I used is quite soft and with the characteristic of hardening externally over time to form a harder external layer.
