Original artwork description:

This watercolor painting is of hills, each hill with a lone tree; the scene is serene. It was of a memory of a trip upstate New York many years ago. It was made from two separate but similar paintings of the same scene, each cut up, one vertical and one horizontal, then woven together. I find the weaving makes the surface more interesting.
