Original artwork description:

The original painting has sold. Limited edition prints are now available.

ABOUT:

A storm was filtering in and the light became a striking contrast to the dark grey clouds overhead. The sheep and the vibrant fields in array of colours were radiating below. Worth the climb for inspiration and great workout for your legs.

Technically for me this was a great exploration into painting, sculpting clouds with oil paint and linseed oil. Meshing the two together to try to create that hazy blur of sky and cloud just they are about to morph into different shapes.

The original was painted in oil on canvas panel.

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS:

This 16 x 16 inch (40.6 x 40.6 cm) reproduction is beautifully printed on Innova soft textured fine art paper (310gsm) using Canon professional Lucia 12 system inks ensure their longevity.

All print sizes are the size of the paper you will receive and therefore the frame that's required.

A 30mm border is included on all print sizes regardless of size and so the image itself is smaller than the listed paper size. It is therefore easy to frame these with no requirement for a mount or you can request a custom size border size by contacting me.

Prints will be posted rolled in a stiff envelope wrapped in protective glassine paper for protection along with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Materials used:

Oils, linseed oil, Stand oil.
