A circular murmuration of birds..

This is a combination of linocut and mono print: the background is the mono print which is printed first and then the birds are printed on top.
To create the background, I apply etching inks onto a circular aluminium plate with a roller, brushes and card before pulling it through the press. For the birds I have carved traditional lino and used relief inks.
Each print is a little different and numbered E.V (Edition Variable); this is number 1, the first in the edition.

It will be carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat packed between board and shipped signed and tracked within four days.
