The beginning of time and all that exists on the planet, the creation of the world and man, the fall from sin in paradise - reflections on these global philosophical topics described in the Bible have invariably provided food for artistic comprehension of Old Testament events in painting. Masters of different schools and directions addressed these key subjects for the human worldview, they all wanted to convey to the audience their own vision of the images generated by their imagination and transferred to the canvas.
