Here is another painting in my series looking at English woodland views.

This is a large, bold statement painting. It would look dramatic in any room, that needed a focal point.
The trees are painted in an impressionistic, pattern-like way. The surface is divided in to a series of overlaid dots and linking shapes to form the trees and negative spaces behind. The light and shade in the woodland, is a strong feature of this work. I have made the colours strong and vibrant.

It is painted in acrylic , with a slight texture added. It is on a heavyweight deep sided canvas, and is ready to hang. The sides are painted black.
