This contemporary , vibrant painting of a woodland is part of my series of works observing British woodlands. It is painted in acrylics and comes READY TO FRAME.

The painting is created in a series of bold lines and dots of paint. I have used a fairly restricted colour palette on this one, to give it some energy. It is a strong silhouette of trees, and lies somewhere between a realistic observation and a patterned interpretation of the scene.

I supply the painting with a bevel edged white mount, and a backboard. This enables the buyer to frame the work easily. It fits a standard 16 x 20 inch frame, which can be bought anywhere. I have shown an example of how it looks in a black frame, although, please note this is for demonstration purposes only.
