THIS ONE SAYS SOLD. IT IS ACTUALLY HANGING IN MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE. IT MAY STILL BE AVAILABLE IF SHE WANTS TO LET IT GO. SHE MAY HAVE DECIDED SHE WANTS TO KEEP IT. SO YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND ME A MESSAGE AND THEN I CAN FIND OUT WHAT THE SITUATION IS.
Here is a new painting in my series, Woodlands.
This is a contemporary view of a woodland area, focusing on the patterns made by trees. It is painted, in acrylic, in an impressionistic way. The surface is built up of many layers of overlaid dots and shapes. The colours are slightly autumnal, which gives a warm glow to the work. Distant branches are muted and soft, to give depth to the view.
Woodlands 4 is on deep sided canvas. The sides are painted white. It has several layers of good quality UV varnish to protect it. The painting comes ready to hang.
