"Woodland Dreams" was inspired by beautiful birch woods near my home in Summer and is a place I go walking often, sunlight filters through the leaves creating dramatic shadows while the eye wanders over the areas of realism in the painting to the abstract marks in the foreground.

An original artwork, one of a kind, this painting has been created with high quality acrylic paints on deep edged canvas. I use impasto techniques layer on layer applied with a palette knife, which creates a contemporary painting, lying somewhere between abstraction and realism. The painting continues round the sides, a frame is not needed and it is ready to hang.

For secure shipping I package work carefully and dispatch by special delivery with parcel force, tracking for the journey.
