Continuing my industrial heritage print series, this piece depicts one of the two sets of pit head winding gear at Woodhorn Colliery, now a wonderful museum, near Ashington in Northumberland, NE England. Constructed between 1898 an 1901.
This run of prints was printed using the reduction method, using 4 colours of oil-based ink on archival paper. As the prints were hand pressed there will be some slight variation between them.
